The Marks Of A Mature Person

Recorded 31 December 2017 AM
/ David Horton / 2017

Hebrews 6:1, Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God (NASB)

Without a doubt, probably the number one cause of problems in the world is immaturity. We get ourselves into all kinds of problems by saying immature things, making immature decisions, acting in immature ways. In this sermon we see 5 marks of maturity from the book of James; 1) A Mature Person Is Positive Under Pressure, 2) A Mature Person Is Sensitive To People, 3) A Mature Person Has Mastered His Mouth, 4) A Mature Person Is A Peacemaker Not A Troublemaker, 5) A Mature Person Is Patient And Prayerful.
